It's a Blog Party......

Today, Julie and I ventured down south to Silverton, OR to meet some fellow bloggers. These were ladies who we've admired their style from afar, and today we all came together to have our own little blog party.......

We arrived at Auntie Joy's house, who authors, A Day in the Life. We were graciously greeted by Joy and her fellow hostesses.....Lisa who authors, A Thing for Roses; Isabel, who authors, Maison Douce; and Martha, who authors, Vintage Trifles. Truly wonderful ladies!
Joy's house was beautifully decorated and had so many wonderful displays. The color pink and roses were all around.....I was in decorating heaven.

We then went out to Joy's studio, where we sat down to create wonderful tiaras or crowns. These were created from chicken wire and then snipped into the shape of a crown. We decorated them with vintage wallpaper, millinery flowers, pearls, glitter and more.
It was fun to sit and visit with everyone. Joe and Jermonne from Barn House and Cindy from Queen of Tarte stopped by to say Hello. It was pleasure meeting everyone and I hope they decide to do this again!
Blessings-
Christa & Julie

It's Coming Together.......

Thank you for visiting!
Julie and I met this evening to start discussing plans for our next year show schedule. We are both very excited to be collaborating on our venture. Our first show will be held in late April at her home in Camas, WA. The second show will be held at her beach property on the Long Beach Penisula on the Washington Coast in late Summer. We have also applied to participate in several other events throughout the summer months, as well. We are looking forward to meeting many new friends this coming year!
During the winter months, we will be planning, creating, and finding many new things to bring your way this Spring. We will keep you updated on our finds and adventures.

Welcome to Kindred Roses
Thank you for stopping by our new blog. Kindred Roses is a creation of two friends who share a love for vintage treasures, cottage style, and primitives. We had our first show at the end of September and have plans in the work for several shows starting early next Spring. We will be bringing you a unique selection of vintage, primitives, seasonal crafts, and handcrafted soaps and lotions. In addition, you will find other vendors at our shows who offer a variety of products including produce and other vintage goodies. We will offer you a fun and memorable shopping experience. Kindred Roses shows are located in SW Washington State. If you are in the area, sign up for our Show Announcements to be notified about our upcoming events.
