Friendship :)

Today I am thankful for my wonderful friends.

I have made great friends since I started this new endeavor.

Some give advise freely and some have to be coaxed a little bit, some I cried with, laughed with, shared wonderful junkin stories with and some not so wonderful junkin stories with.

They have made me feel welcome to this community, loved and cared for.

I hope in return they feel like I have made them feel the same.

Be sure to tell your friends how much they mean to you!!!

Life would be dull and lonely without them.

It's a Blog Party......

Today, Julie and I ventured down south to Silverton, OR to meet some fellow bloggers.  These were ladies who we've admired their style from afar, and today we all came together to have our own little blog party.......

We arrived at Auntie Joy's house, who authors, A Day in the Life.  We were graciously greeted by Joy and her fellow hostesses.....Lisa who authors, A Thing for Roses; Isabel, who authors, Maison Douce; and Martha, who authors, Vintage Trifles.  Truly wonderful ladies!

Joy's house was beautifully decorated and had so many wonderful displays.  The color pink and roses were all around.....I was in decorating heaven.

We then went out to Joy's studio, where we sat down to create wonderful tiaras or crowns.  These were created from chicken wire and then snipped into the shape of a crown.  We decorated them with vintage wallpaper, millinery flowers, pearls, glitter and more.  

It was fun to sit and visit with everyone.  Joe and Jermonne from Barn House and Cindy from Queen of Tarte stopped by to say Hello.  It was pleasure meeting everyone and I hope they decide to do this again!
