One With Nature...

If you know anything about me, you know that I have some cute nicknames.

Like "Last minute Lucy", "Spur of the moment Julie"

Hey, it's a plan as long as its done 10 minutes before leaving.
I love flying by the seat of my pants!!!!

So when I said I was going junkin this weekend...Well that only lasted for about 4 hours.

Mike had better plans for me this weekend.

A little woodcutting, being one with nature.

So Friday after work we headed to Mt. Adams.

Saturday we found the perfect tree.

If you are into woodcutting you know what the perfect tree consists of....

It is close to the road, without a lot of branches and minimal bark (Mike has me trained well :)

Being in Trout Lake would not be the same without stopping here.

However it wasn't the Huckleberry Smoothie that we went for....

Nope it was the Huckleberry Pie..

Yum!!!

I really envy all those bloggers who have really nice pics of themselves with their hubby.

So I asked Sarah to get a shot of Mike and I at Los Dos after Sid's graduation

for me to post on my blog.

Didn't know until she sent it to me that Mike is being his usual self.....uh huh...Got to love him...

No, his eyes are not usually crossed....
