Some of our recent finds......

Julie and I have some new found vintage treasures to share with you.......

On a recent hunting expedition, Julie found this lovely vintage sewing cabinet.  One of her favorites things about it was the wreath on the front of it.

She is considering whether to leave it brown or to shabby it up with a nice coat of white paint and some sanding.

Another great find for her was this vintage suitcase.....

Someone had put it out by the curb to find a new home......I love these kind of finds.......FREE is always a good price!

My little treasures found lately are an old cowbell with yellow chippy paint, an old camping pot, and some vintage buttons and children's patterns.

The little girls dresses are adorable!  The pattern is stamped "Meier & Frank", which was purchased by Macy's a few years ago.  I live in the Northwest, so I shopped at Meier & Frank, but never in my lifetime did they have a pattern or sewing section.  It was long gone by the time I was a shopper ;o).

I just left a comment on your other blog and then I saw this one. I love your finds! It's hard to say what to do about the old sewing cabinet... I'm sure it will look great whatever you decide. I am just in the process of refinishing an art-deco buffet. I stripped it and now it's getting a lovely coat (coats) of white paint!

I stumbled upon your blog and was excited to find that you also like finding treasures at the curb! I do it all the time :)
I also have a stack of old leather trim suitcases that I use to store my kids' artwork in. I have lots of old sewing patterns that I use in my art and I noticed I have 2 of the exact same ones you show here!!
