A Little White Paint

Remember my chair from my previous post below.
Well it didn't sell at Monticello.
So.... I brought it home and painted the brown wood a creamy white and took the sander to it.
I love how it turned out!!!
Distressed and ready for my bum every night while I read all the wonderful blogs out there!!!
My new addition to the living room make over!
Hugs Julie

I don't think I could have sold it to begin with. It looks great and is perfect for blog cruising.

That looks fabulous! I didn't see it before, but it looks great with the white paint. I'd totally keep that chair and I bet it looks perfect in your living room....and hey, if it's comfortable for the bum....even better!

Loving the chair Julie! It was meant to be for your bum only. I just finished painting a victorian chair that didn't sell at Monticello too, and it looks 100% better. We think alike!

That is one beautiful chair, Julie! (Both before and after.) There a number of "didn't sell" items in my home now . . . and I couldn't be more pleased. Somehow, the right thing always happens.

Happy *coming* Spring!
