Off to the Auction

Saturday I was really looking forward to us being in town and hitting some great sales.
So out the door we headed. After an ok sale, then a dud sale, we finally hit the jackpot right around the corner from the house.
The Expedition was full so off to the storage unit we went to unload.
Then we decided to hit the Nursery Auction in Washougal. I am soooo glad we did.
We ran into a really nice couple that we had met the previous weekend at a farm auction.
They are so nice!!!
Here are some of our finds.
Vintage Tree Baskets. Are these cool or what?

Not sure what this galvanized thingy is but I knew I had to have it.

We purchased two Japanese Maples that will find a new home in our yard.
They are sooo beautiful.

Mugo Pines will make the trek to the beach property for their new home.

This vintage garden table that I got from Debbie (Ormalulu) at the Camas Vintage Street Faire. It will also go to the beach property for us to enjoy next summer.
The rustier the better!!!

This great little wooden box I purchased at expo in July.
I wanted to keep it but cant find the right place in my home.
I intended on painting it cream but now I am not sure.
What do you think???

I have been busy making soap, soap and more soap.
The Holidays are just around the corner.
Be sure to come by and see Chandra and I at the Portland Expo next Fri, Sat and Sun.
October 23-25th.
We promise you wont be disappointed.
Until then
Julie :)

I really like your treasures. In the picture the chest looks like the paint is original. Great shade of blue....I would leave it as is. But then, I love color..

Love your finds!! And I love that drawer cabinet! I would leave it as is... But it would look great in a cream color, too... Tough call!

Great finds!!

I love shabby white, but, that chest is a unique, and right now very popular color.
I would leave it as found.
You will find some other great little pieces to go with it and have a great display at one of your sales.
